Mikayla, a dedicated third-year Speech Pathology student at the University of Newcastle, brings a wealth of experience to our team as an Allied Health Assistant. Her background includes working as a literacy tutor for primary school children, where she honed her skills in supporting both neurodiverse and neurotypical learners. Certified in LEGO-based therapy, Mikayla excels at enhancing social and communication skills in group settings, a testament to her innovative and engaging approach. Passionate about language developmental milestones and linguistics, she eagerly expands her knowledge in all areas of Speech Pathology. Outside the clinic, Mikayla enjoys a well-rounded lifestyle with hobbies like baking, fitness, long walks, and beach visits. Her diverse skills and vibrant enthusiasm make her an invaluable asset to our practice.
