Shae Rodgers

Director Speech Pathologist

Shae Rodgers, a Neurodivergent Paediatric Speech Pathologist and the Director of Small TALK speech therapy, has been passionately serving in the field since 2009. Her dedication to quality client care and fostering a positive work culture has been pivotal in supporting the clinical and personal growth of her team of speech pathologists. Shae’s extensive experience at Small TALK speech therapy, where she has been the Director since 2011, has shaped her expertise in business and practice management, including marketing, community education, and the development of efficient systems for practice management.

With a special interest in supporting Autistic and neurodivergent children, Shae’s practice is known for its focus on early intervention, neurodiversity affirming supports, and assisting children and young people with AAC. Her approach to therapy is child-centered, respectful, and fun, aiming for goal-driven and functional outcomes. Shae’s commitment stems from a personal connection to ensuring that every child has the right to express themselves, be heard, and be valued.

In addition to her role at Small TALK speech therapy, Shae is the founder of Speech Pathology Resources, a platform dedicated to sharing knowledge and resources with other speech pathologists. Through this venture, her mission is to save time for professionals in the field with every resource provided. Her continuous professional development is demonstrated through her active participation in workshops, conferences, and her membership in Speech Pathology Australia.

When not immersed in her professional endeavors, Shae enjoys spending time with her husband and two energetic boys and engaging in a variety of hobbies including reading, listening to podcasts, nature walks, Pilates, dining out, and beach 4WD adventures.
